Mother Hen

Raising chickens in the house wasn't a good idea.

Chapter 9: Clients

One bin of chickens turned into two.

Chickens started escaping and hanging out on the computer desk.

I built the chickens a shelf to keep them off of the desk before being moved to the garage for a short stay.

Ronnie lifted the old garden shed and put it on skids to move it out into the yard.

After several coats of paint, we converted the old garden shed into a brand new coop. Ready for my first flock of chickens!

There was so much room for the chickens! I preheated the floor before turning them loose.

I was happy but also excessively drained from rehabbing the home in between gardening and chicken chores.
